"User" agrees to hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities and expenses.

Website Statistics

Our aim is to improve user experience without violating user privacy. For that we use Google Analytics (where ip addresses are anonymized), StatCounter (last 500 page loads) and standard web server logs which are retained for 21 days and then automatically deleted. These statistics are used to help diagnose problems with our servers, security, manage our website, to gather very broad geographic information and to detect and prevent the daily attacks on our servers.

Web Scraping

Crawling or visiting our website is allowed if done in accordance with the provisions of our robots.txt file, but scraping is strictly prohibited. Web server logs are examined on a regular basis and preventive action will be taken if scraping is detected.

Communications

Any email, other address or private information you provide in communication with us is strictly confidential and will never be given or sold to any third party. Upon your request we will remove any addresses or other information we have used in communication with you.

Advertising

To try and bring you offers that are of genuine interest to you, we have relationships with other companies that we allow to show ads on our web pages. As a result of your visit, ad serving companies may collect certain technical information to display their products and place cookies in your browser.

EU Residents

Those users located in countries member of the European Economic Area (EEA, or EU) and the UK visiting the site for the first time will see a popup message indicating to the user that cookies will be used. After this confirmation, a one year duration entry in browser localStorage will be set so that the notification is not shown again during that period. We will never save any private data to show personalized ads to visitors from the EEA. This has been disabled through Google and Infolinks.

California Residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a data privacy law that require us to give California residents the choice to opt out of the sale of their personal information, according to CCPA terms. EAI made the choice to not to display a control on our pages but to restrict data processing for all of our traffic to users in California. For more information see the next link toGoogle CCPA.

Interest based Ads

You may opt out of personalization by visiting the Google Advertising privacy FAQ at: (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads). Or by a third-party vendors use of cookies for personalized advertising by visitingaboutads.info.

During certain times we run ad campaigns using browser sessionStorage to register if the user closed that popup window, thus preventing too much advertising. This entry lasts during the session and is automatically removed if the browser or the tab is closed. This browser saved data will never be sent back to us.

Deleting cookies

The long duration localStorage 'cookie' we use is our EU_Cookie_Law setting saved in your browser localStorage database. This particular 'cookie' entry can be deleted by clicking the following link:delete EU cookie. If present, you will see a confirmation message and the entry will be deleted. You will then see the popup again on the next page view. Again, this browser data will never be sent to us.

We also use a PHP session cookie which will be active for fifteen (15) minutes and will be automatically removed by the browser without any user interaction.

Preferred solution

By changing your browser preferences you can turn off cookies in your browser so that the information is not saved at all, or have your browser warn you before accepting any cookies. This way cookies can be completely disabled.

In Firefox go to menu: Tools, Options and the Privacy tab. For Internet Explorer see menu: Tools, Internet Options and the General tab. For Google Chrome: Click the 'Triple Dots or Line' in the tool bar then Settings, 'Show Advanced Settings' and look under Privacy for 'Clear Browsing Data'. This may differ due to browser versions. Other lesser used browsers will have similar options.
